Unable to access CM9760-MDA programming menus with a CM9760-KBD.

Cause
CM9760-KBD Intelligent Keyboard incorrectly configured for CM9760-MDA control.
Resolution
The CM9760-KBD Intelligent Keyboard must be configured for direct mode to program a CM9760-MDA Master Distribution Amplifier.
- Connect a monitor to the PGM MON output on the rear panel of the CM9760-MDA.
- Connect a reverse cable between CM9760-KBD Power Supply system port and COM1 on the CM9760-MDA.
- Connect a straight cable from the CM9760-KBD Power Supply keyboard port and COM1 on the CM9760-KBD.
- Plug in the CM9760-KBD Power Supply. The CM9760-KBD illuminates.
- On the bottom of the CM9760-KBD, set DIP switch 2 ON. The CM9760-KBD display the Setup PIN prompt.
- Enter the Setup PIN using the numeric keypad. (Default: 1234)

. The Advance Setup 1 screen displays on the LCD.

to change the Host to Direct Camera Control.

to select the COM1 line.

to change the baud rate to 9600.

to change the Parity to Odd.

to store the changes.

four times to select physical camera 0.

- Press 1 on the numeric keypad.

two times to exit Setup Mode.
- On the bottom of the CM9760-KBD, set DIP switch 2 OFF.
- Power cycle the CM9760-KBD.
- Move the CM9760-KBD joystick. The CM9760-MDA programming menu appears on the monitor connected to the PGM MON output.
- Program the CM9760-MDA as needed.
