How do I set the dip switches on my TXB-B and my Spectra III or Spectra IV when using the Philips/Bosch protocol?
- Spectra III
- Spectra IV
- Philips/Bosch protocol
Philips/ Bosch is using two word bite of information for the address of its cameras. There for you need to set the addressing switches on the TXB-B any time you have a Philips/ Bosch address that is higher then 128.
Follow the addressing in the TXB-B manual for address both the TXB-B and the Spectra III or Spectra IV cameras as shown in table D.
Note: The TXB-B translates the Bosch (Philips, Burle) controllers to Pelco D protocol at a 2400 Baud Rate No Parity 8 Stop Bits 1 Bit.
Ensure that only the camera or the TXB-B board is set for termination. Setting both camera and txb-b for termination will result in no ptz control.
The TXB-B is shown across the top of the table. The Spectra II/Spectra IV is shown along left side of the table.
The settings for the switch is binary but the numbers is shown in standard base 10.
