How to verify which Endura Cameras can be seen with UDI5000-MTRX.

Issue

Some cameras are unable to be called up from the CM9700-KBD. The screen may retain the image of the previous camera or simply be a black screen.

Cause

A logical number for the cameras in question has not been defined from the Endura Workstation software (WS5000/5200).

Resolution

To verify that a camera has a logical number that the UDI5000-MTRX recognizes, open a web browser and enter:
http://[ip address of UDI]:8400/device/cameranumbers into the URL field.
Example: http://192.168.5.160:8400/device/cameranumbers.

This will display a list of all camera numbers which the UDI5000-MTRX recognizes.

In this example camera numbers 1 and 3 are the only ones configured in the Endura Workstation software.
If the camera number is not listed, it is most likely not configured within the Endura Workstation software.

note: The UDI5000-MTRX has a four minute refresh window. If changes applied do not appear in the list, verify that enough time was given to allow Endura and the UDI5000-MTRX to synchronize.

note: When done configuring the UDI5000-MTRX be sure to close the web interface. When the web interface is left open the UDI5000-MTRX thinks that it is still being configured and may cause services to continue to restart.
