Auto resizing of the live video view pane when cameras of varying aspect ratios are dragged into the live video view pane of DS ControlPoint.

When dragging cameras with varying aspect ratios (example: 4x3 square or 16x9 wide) to the live view video panes within DS ControlPoint, the cameras with the same aspect ratio and are populated more than other cameras with different aspect ratios will set the panel aspect ratio for all cameras in the live view display.

This means that if you had say 6 cameras using 640 x 480 (4x3 aspect ratio) and 3 cameras using 1280 x 720 (16x9 aspect ratio), the DS ControlPoint live video display will set all viewing panels to a 4x3 aspect ratio.  This is done to maintain a correct alignment of the view panels.  When cameras are added to the display which do not match the viewing panel's aspect ratio, white borders will be added to keep the image from changing it's own aspect ratio and thereby altering the image properties.

This is how DS ControlPoint is designed to handle the wide variety of camera resolutions which can be added to a viewing layout. To minimize white borders, one option is to change the cameras recording resolution using DS Quick Setup or DS Admin to match aspect ratios.
