How to verify that Mapping is running on the Endura System Manager?

Unable to log into the mapping software

SM5000 1.4.36 and above
SM5200 1.0.0847 and above
WS5200-MAP

Cause

The SM5000 contains the mapping service and when the mapping software is not working the SM5000 is the first place to check.

Resolution

SM50000

  1. SSH into the SM5000     (SSH instructions: Lessons Learned Article #13089)
  2. Type "screen -ls " and look for the Endura Mapping Runtime
  3. If the service is not running we need to start it by typing "service mapping restart "
  4. Ensure you can login to the Mapping software

 

SM52000

  1. SSH into the SM5200    (SSH instructions: Lessons Learned Article #13089)
  2. Type " service mappingserver status "
  3. If the service is not running we need to start it by typing "service mappingserver restart "
  4. Ensure you can login to the Mapping software
