How to Enable the Coaxial Port on the Back of a NET5301R Video Decoder


By default, the NET5301R video decoder outputs a VGA signal only.

The NET5301R video decoder can only output one video signal at a time.


  1. Open the WS5000 program.
  2. Press CTRL + SHIFT + S to access the setup window.
  3. Click on the Devices tab.
  4. Click on the filter button in the upper-left portion of the window.
  5. Change the filter type to Device Type.
  6. Change the device type to Monitor, as shown in Figure 1, below.

  7. Select the Endura Decoder Monitor item in the list on the left.
  8. In the lower-right pane of the window, change the analog output type to either NTSC or PAL, as shown in Figure 2 below.

    Roughly speaking, North America, Central America, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Thailand, the Caribbean, and parts of South America use NTSC. If you are located in a different part of the world, choose PAL, instead.
  9. Click OK to apply the changes.
