Enable Compatibility View in Internet Explorer 10

  1. There are multiple methods for enabling Compatibility View depending on IE version, with IE10 you can select the icon in the address bar.
    1. Enter the IP address of the Grandeye camera into the address bar of IE10 and then [ENTER].

    2. Once the Grandeye interface has loaded, look for a broken page icon at the far right of the address bar.

    3. Click on the broken page icon to enable Compatibility View.

    4. The broken page icon will now be bold with a blue coloration, the Grandeye camera should now be properly formatted and displaying video (as long as Quick Time is installed).

  2. If the broken page icon is not displayed, manually add to the Compatibility View Settings list (this option should work with IE11 also).
    1. Enter the IP address of the Grandeye camera into the address bar of IE10 and then [ENTER].

    2. Once the Grandeye interface is loaded, press the ALT key on the keyboard.

    3. The File menu will be displayed, select Tools > Compatibility View or Compatibility View settings.

    4. Selecting Compatibility View will add the site immediately; selecting Compatibility View settings will allow you to manually add the camera.

    5. Click Add if the Compatibility View settings menu was selected.

    6. Once the site has been added, click Close.

    7. The Grandeye Evolution IP camera should now be displaying properly.
