Customer wants to know the limit to how many workstations can be connected to a Continuum LAN setup

Resolution

The Continuum LAN setup itself has no real limit to how many workstations you can connect but there are some limits to take into consideration.

You can have up to 64 Workstations with ACC NET ID's between 191 - 254 which you will be able to setup to receive Continuum alarms, all workstations added after this limit will not be able to receive alarms and will need their ACC NET ID set to 0

You will also need to purchase the correct number of Microsoft CAL (Client Access Licensing) licences for the Server and SQL which the database will reside on, please see the following link for information on this  Microsoft Volume Licensing
