The cameras show No permission in DX8100 client software?

Issue

Each camera show "No Permission" when the DX8100 Client software is connected to the DX8100 server.

  • DX8100
  • DX8100 Client software

Cause

  • The user account does not have rights to view live video.

Resolution

 

  • Option 1: On the DX8100 client, Log on to the DX8100 server with an account that has rights to view live video.
  • Option 2: On the DX8100 server, give Live video rights to the user account.
