Video on VCD5200 or Net5402R freezes or is delayed by 20 to 30 seconds in coming up.

Issue

When video from Sarix IX and IM series IP cameras is called up to the VCD or Net5402R display, the video may take 20 to 30 seconds to be displayed.  Also, the video may come up right away but then freeze for several seconds.

  • Sarix IM series cameras ver 1.9.2 or older

Cause

Video is delayed or freezes when called up to the VCD5200 or Net5402R due to software issues within the IP cameras.

Resolution

In order for VCD5200 or Net5402R to connect and display streaming video from the cameras, the cameras must be updated to version 1.9.2.11 or later.
