When adding an IP camera to a DX4700/DX4800 series, a message appears when the Test button is selected: IP Camera test Failed. Check IP Camera Setting and Internet connection.

DVR fails to communicate and connect to camera.
- Verify all physical connections from the camera to the DVR.
- Use a PC to ping the camera's IP address and verify connection in a browser. Also, ping the DVR.
- Verify DVR IP camera configurations are correct.
- Reboot Both DVR and IP Camera
