The DX series Client will not display a camera tree in site list.

Issue

The client software displays a DVR connection which expands and displays Relay Tree, but will not show any cameras.

Environment

  • DX Series Client Software all Versions.

  • DX4700HD/ DX4800HD Series

Cause

  1. The DVR may have corrupted data stored in memory.
  2. The DVR connection File located on the local machine: C:\Program Files (x86)\Pelco\PELCO DX Series Client\Network Client\Connect.ini has corrupted information.

Resolution

Power cycle the DVR.

Reconfigure the DVR connection in the connection list. 

Uninstall/ Remove the directory at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Pelco\PELCO DX Series Client. Reinstall The DX Series Client Software.
