Cause
When performing an update MCI after adding a new ACS controller to an existing sublan, why is a Memory Failure error message generated?
Resolution
Since the existing sublan controllers are ASCs with each containing 20 points within the interface, memory limitation is likely exceeded. Clean-up the interface database by deleting the unused resident I/O points. Make sure ASC controllers are set to Internal before deleting points. Retry performing the MCI update for the newly added controllers.
