Issue
Can an NPR and modem setup for integrated NPR dial, allow a "back door" into a company's Ethernet lan (i.e. compromising their network security)?
Environment
I/NET site
Cause
NPR and modems set up for integrated NPR dialing do not pose security risks to a network
Resolution
The NPR will not talk to a PC unless it has I/NET running. This eliminates the possibility of using it as a "back door" to bypass network security measures.
