Sarix Professional series IP cameras randomly drop video streams to DigitalSENTRY series video recorders.

Issue

  • While viewing live video in DS ControlPoint connected to a DigitalSENTRY series HVR, Sarix Professional series cameras randomly stop displaying video and a blue "No Video" pane is displayed.
  • DS ControlPoint and DSAdmin changes from Configuring Camera to No Video.

Cause

Sarix Professional series IP cameras periodically stop streaming video to DigitalSENTRY series video recorders due to a firmware issue.

Resolution

In order to correct this issue, the camera's firmware must be updated to ver 3.28 or later and Digital Sentry must be running version 7.3 or later.
