Blue Pelco logo lights. Power is being applied to the module.  - No action requied.
Blue pelco logo does not light. Power is not being applied to the module.

1.Power connection is faulty.

2.Power supply has failed.

3.Loss of power occurs due to tripped circuit breakers, blown fuses,or faulty electrical services.

1.Check power connection. If module is rack mounted,reseat modul or power supply as necessary.

2. Replace power supply.

3.Check circuit breakers,fuses, or electrical service as necessary.

(3)Video Present LED      
Green Incoming video signal is not present on the channel. - No action required
Red on transmitter Incoming video signal is not present on the channel.

1.Video source is not powered on.

2.Video source is not connected to the transmitter.

3.Coaxial cable is defective.

1.Check power connection to video source.

2.Check BNC connections.

3.Replace cable.

Red on receiver Incoming video signal is not present on the channel .

 1.Optical signal is not being received form the transmitter.Optic Fault LED is also red.

2.Video source is not powered on.

3.Video source is not connected to the transmitter.

4.Coaxial cable connected to the transmitter is defective.

 1.Refer to the optical fault LED section in this table.

2.Check power connection to the video source.

3.Check BNC connections.

4.Replace cable.

Red The optional signal is not being received.

1.Remote fiber  module is not powerd on.

2.Fiber optic cable is not connected.

3.Fiber optic cable connectors are dirty or are demaged.

4.Fiber optic cable is defective.

5.Optical dB losses in the fiber optic installation exceed the optical power budget specification stated in the spectications section.

6.Optical dB losses in the fiber optic installation meet the optical power budget specifications section; however a fiber module is defective.    

1.Check power connections Replace power supply if necessary.

2.Check fiber optic connections.

3.Clean, polish, or replace fiber optic cable connectors as necessary.

4.Replace cable.

5.Check for problems with the fiber optic installation, for example, excesssive dB losses inconnectors, splices,patch panels,cables and so on.

6.Contact Product Support.

 

Flashing Red  Laser has shut down.

1.Fiber module is operating in extreme enviromental conditions; for example, operating temperature is below or above recommended range as stated in the specification section.

2.Laser has reached end of life.

 1. Ensure that fiber module operates according to operating conditions stated in the specifications section, and then cycle the power.If problem persists, contact Product support.

2.Cycle the power. If problem persists, contact Product support.

Flashing amber  Data is being transmitted onto the fiber  by the data port.   No action required.
 Red  Data selection switch is set to an invalid setting.  Data selection switch is set to setting 6,7,8, or 9.  Set data selection switch to the correct setting for the desired data communication.(refer to table A)
 Not Lit  Data is not being transmitted onto th fiber by the data port.

 1.Data is not present on the channel.

2.Data connection is faulty.

3.Data communication cable is defective.

1.No action required.

2.Check data connections.

3.Replace cable.

(2)Data Rx LED      
Flashing amber Data is being received from the fiber by the data port. - No action required.
Red Data selection switch is set to an invalid setting. Data selection switch is set to setting 6,7,8,or 9  Set Data  selection switch to the correct setting for the desired data communication (refer to table A)
Not LIT Data is not being received from the fiber by the data port.

1.Data is not present on the channel.

2.Data connection is faulty.

3.Data communication cable is defective.

1.No action required.

2.Check data  connections.

3.Replace cable.
