Available documentation is a bit bare on specifically what camera conditions can be monitored / setup to be displayed as alarms in Continuum.

According to the Video compatibility matrix:According to the Video compatibility matrix: Only the following video alarms are supported:
According to the latest Video Compatibility Matrix, the following video alarms are supported:
  1. video server online/offline
  2. camera video loss (cable connection loss only, not covering of camera lens)
  3. motion detection (per camera)
 
Note: Video loss and motion alarm functionality not supported on DVX and DVXi Video Servers.

DVX and DVXi do not support video loss and motion alarm functionality.
 
QA indicates we do support video loss (cable connection loss only) but not when the camera is covered
 
So we do support Video Loss and this looks to be per camera as another Engineer noted his system showed specific camera names in the video loss alarms showing in Continuum. This would be video loss from cable disconnect not from a camera lens being covered though.
