How to access the on-screen display (OSD) in Pelco IP Cameras

Issue

  • Enable or Disable the cameras Camera Title / Date & Time or other on screen overlay Options.
  • The data and time is incorrect for an individual camera on a NVR.
  • Pelco Mobile shows an incorrect data & time for an individual camera.

Cause

Enable or Disable IP camera overlay features.

Resolution

To add or remove the camera title or date & time overlay from the cameras web interface.

Optera OSDi interface

  1. Access the web interface of the camera and login if required.
     
  2. Navigate to Settings > System > OSDi



     
  3. Check the box to either enable or disable the OSD feature. You will see the cameras image above these options.


     
  4. Click Save when finished with configuration.

 

Spectra Enhanced OSDi interface

  1. Access the web interface of the camera and login if required.
     
  2. Navigate to Settings > System > OSDi
     
  3. Check the box to either enable or disable the OSD feature. 


     
  4. Make sure to Save any changes that are made.

 

Spectra Pro, Sarix Pro, Sarix Pro 2

  1. Access the web interface of the camera and login if required.
     
  2. Navigate to Settings > System > General Settings
     
  3. Configure the Text Overlay section to enable or disable overlays in camera video.


     


Oncam Grandeye EVO5

  1. Access the web interface of the camera and login if required.
     
  2. Navigate to the IMAGE menu and locate the "OVERLAY DATE/TIME".
