Adding an additional analog camera to the recorder.

The DX4700 / DX4800 supports 8 to 16 looping BNC analog inputs and camera video up to 720TVL 1 Vp-p, 75 ohms.
Connect the analog video cable to an available video input on the DVR (3).
Once connected, access the DX47/48 setup by using a connected USB mouse, the Remote Control or using Front Panel buttons.

First login using the 'admin' account by clicking the person icon on the toolbar or pressing the 'Login" button on the front panel.
Click the gear icon to access Setup menu.
Click the Camera menu, then click the Camera submenu. Verify the new camera channel is enabled by verifying Disable = OFF
Make sure to configure a recording schedule using Setup > Schedule menu.

If the camera has PTZ functionality, configure PTZ control.

Verify the DVR is correctly configured for NTSC or PAL depending on region installed. Setup > System > Properties > Video Format
Exit the Setup menu by click the X in upper right using the mouse or the ESC button.
Verify video is displaying on the main monitor. You can adjust the layout by selecting the MAIN button on the toolbar.
