In Niagara G3 version 3.3.22.5, when a bound label on a graphic page is overridden, and the override clears, the foreground color reverts back to "default" even though a specific color was previously programmed.

Environment

Niagara G3

Cause

Defect with version 3.3.22.5

Resolution

Further details: The bound label's foreground color is set to something other than "default". Then the status effect is set to either color or color/blink. When the point is overridden, its color changes accordingly. When the override clears, the foreground color changes to "default" (which is black) instead of the pre-assigned color. This issue has been identified by Tridium. Details of it can be found at http://www.niagara-central.com.

The following two links provides further details including a forum-type discussion of it.

The discussion thread details a work-around which is provided below: Right click the foreground property and choose animate, then set the converter type to "fixed simple" and pick a color. This ensures G3 remembers the color when it returns from an overridden state.
