Issue
The elaspedActiveTime property of the DiscreteTotalizerExtension is displaying the time in hours, minutes, seconds and milliseconds.
How do we not display the milliseconds? In the example below, the composited elaspedActiveTime shown is 7 minutes and 33.687 seconds.
Environment
I/A Series G3 Workbench
Cause
This is the default display of the elaspedActiveTime property
Resolution
Follow these steps to configure how the elaspedActiveTime property should be displayed.
- The elaspedActiveTime property of the DiscreteTotalizerExtension should already be composited.
- Go to the Slot Sheet of the DiscreteTotalizerExtension parent object. The example below is shown with a BooleanWritable object.
- Right-click on the elaspedActiveTime property and select 'Config Facets'. The Config Facets window will pop up. Add in the Key 'showMilliseconds' and Type 'Boolean'. The value should be set to 'false' since we do not want to show the milliseconds. Click OK.
- The elaspedActiveTime property will now be displayed only in hours, minutes and seconds.
