Cause

Sarix first generation cameras do not support SDHC or SDXC, only SDSC.

Resolution

First Generation Sarix cameras  (IXS0,10,20,30)

The supported SD format type on the Sarix camera is Standard-Capacity (SDSC). The Sarix cameras do not support High-Capacity (SDHC) or eXtended-Capacity (SDXC) SD format type.

The SDSC card must be formatted to FAT32 and cannot be larger than 2 GB (the standard SDSC capacity specification). Click here for instruction on how-to format the SD card to FAT32.
