Cause

Programming of a pattern for a Spectra PTZ.

Resolution

To Program a Pattern from the DX4500/DX4600/DX4700/DX4800 server, follow these steps. 

  1. On the front panel, press SHIFT + SET or press SET on the remote control or click SET using the mouse.
  2. On the front panel or remote control, press a number to represent the pattern (1–4). Using the mouse, click a number.
  3. On the front panel, press SHIFT + PATTERN or press PATTERN the remote control or click PATTERN using the mouse.
  4. Move the camera through a series of movements using the on-screen PTZ and focus controls.
    1. On the front panel or remote control, press any of the arrow buttons to move the camera. Using the mouse, click the Move buttons .
    2. On the front panel, press SHIFT + ZOOM to zoom in. Or press ZOOM on the remote control or click ZOOM using the mouse.
    3. On the front panel, press SHIFT + FOCUS - to focus far or FOCUS + to focus near. Or press FOCUS on the remote control or click FOCUS using the mouse.
  5. Stop programming the pattern.
    1. On the front panel, press SHIFT + PATTERN or press PATTERN on the remote control or click on PATTERN using the mouse.
    2. On the front panel, press SHIFT + SET or press SET on the remote control or click on SET using the mouse.
  6. Verify the pattern.
    • On the front panel, press the pattern number, then press SHIFT + PATTERN.
    • On the remote control, press the patter number, then press PATTERN.
    • Using the mouse, click the pattern number, then click PATTERN.
      The programmed pattern should start.
  7. To stop the pattern, on the front panel or remote control, press any of the arrow buttons. Or click the Move button if using the mouse.
