Cause

Maximum data rate the DX4700/DX4800 can process without performance degradation.

Resolution

The maximum bandwidth at full analog load is 4 Mbps. Bandwidth can be gained by lowering resolution, image per second (IPS), or the number of remote client connections.

Available bandwidth varies dependent on the camera and camera settings. By modifying the Sarix GOP
(Group of Pictures) structure it is possible to maximize IP settings. For example using the web browser
interface to a 2.1 or 3.1 MP Sarix  IP camera, make adjustment to the following settings:

  • Resolution = 1920x1080
  • Bandwidth = 2000 kbps
  • GOP I-frame setting = 128 (PAL); 150 (NTSC)

The table below represents the IP Camera resolution settings for the DX4700/DX4800 server and remote client.
