  • Spectra IV

Cause

Swapping dome drives of a Spectra III with Spectra IV

Resolution

The door assembly inside the back box contains memory chips that store configurable data.  This data was loaded from the Spectra III dome drive and should be cleared.  After the camera reset, current dome drive firmware is loaded back into the door assembly.  Users can now configure Iris settings customized for their specific field of view and application. The original configurable data may have been corrupt, or the firmware versions of both dome drives are non-compatible necessitating in a camera reset.
