Cause
Allocate hard drive spaces.
Resolution
The normal partition is used for continuous and manual recording.
The event partition is used for alarm and motion detection events.
The normal and event partitions are adjustable to allow the user to optimize storage utilization to meet their recording and retention requirements.
NOTE: Changing the event partition size will format the hard drive(s); all previous recorded video will be deleted.
To change the event partition:
- Enter the Setup menu
- Click on System
- Click on hard disk
- Change the Event partition percentage.
- Exit the menu
- Accept the new changes,
