The watermark security feature is embedded with Native (.pns), AVI and ASF video formats.

The DX8000/DX8100 Viewer is capable of playing back a variety of video, still image, and audio media formats. It is designed to recognize and verify the digital watermark that is embedded in DX8000/DX8100 Series native video. Watermarking is used to authenticate the originality of a video file and to alert users of possible image tampering. The watermark is an encrypted, digital signature embedded in the video stream during the compression stage, protecting the video from the moment of creation. The viewer application runs automatically each time a CD or DVD created by the DX8000/DX8100’s export feature is inserted into a Windows®-based computer. The software can also be installed on a computer and opened independently when necessary.
