Below are two options to reset the Spectra IV IP camera. Skip to option 2 if you have the TXB-IP reset cable (part#: WA01-6104-004A click to view image)

Option 1: Reset the camera without the TXB-IP reset cable
1.     Remove the IBBR out of the back box. This is the black plastic part where the door assembly sits in. (Click Here for image reference)
2.     Power up the camera and connect it to a network link.
3.     Locate the TXB-IP. You can get to it from the back side of the IBBR.
4.     Hold the reset button until the LED flashes through a sequence of nine times green, nine times amber, and a couple times in red.
5.     Release the reset button once the LED goes through the sequence. Refer to step 4 for LED color sequence.

Option 2: Reset the camera using TXB-IP reset cable
1.     Remove the dome drive from the back box.
2.     Connect the dome drive to the back box using the TXB-IP reset cable.
3.     Power up the camera.
4.     Locate the TXB-IP. You can get to it from the back side of the IBBR.
5.     Hold the reset button until the LED flashes through a sequence of nine times green, nine times amber, and a couple times in red.
6.     Release the reset button once the LED goes through the sequence. Refer to step 4 for LED flashes sequence.

Note:
This applies to the TXB-IP only and not the TXB-N. If it is a TXB-N, hold the reset button for 10 seconds then release. This will reset the camera to default. The difference between the TXB-IP and the TXB-N is the location of the reset button. On the TXB-IP the reset button is located next to the LED. On the TXB-N the reset button is located across from the LED on the other side of the module.

TXB-N LED:

The green LED blinks slow when an IP has been assigned during normal operation.  If the RED Led shows up - it is detailing info about the onboard CPU in the encoder.

IF the LED Flashes red constantly is a bad CPU:
Cold start the board may fix it - if it continues replace the TXB

Constant red/amber flash means the CPU has stopped - This can happen if the reset button is held down for more than 12 seconds.  ONLY a cold start will fix. Then the camera continues after cold start with reset process

RESET Process -  LED flashes green fast while it is assigning an IP then flash slow during normal operation.

The default IP will be 192.168.0.20 if there is not a DHCP service present on the network.
