Upgrading Digital Sentry software causes video loss on the IP110, IP3701 and Spectra IV IP series cameras.

Cause

Previous Digital Sentry software versions would stream video even if an incorrect image per second was saved in DS Quick Setup. With Digital Sentry 7.2.30, the image per second saved in DS Quick Setup must match the IP cameras supported rate.

Resolution

Run the DS Quick Setup Wizard and configure the IP cameras using a supported image per second.  DS Quick Setup Wizard will only allow supported Compression be selected.

MPEG4 = 6,10,15,30ips (A full-motion video standard used by most DVD recorders. MPEG-4 is less processor-intensive than JPEG, but it uses more bandwidth than H.264)
MJPEG = 1-30ips (Motion JPEG has the least impact on the camera’s processor, but it requires the most bandwidth. Motion JPEG has the same characteristics as JPEG but differs in its mode of transfer (RTP).
